Fill-Me-Up Smoothie

Ingredients
- ½ cup oats
- 1 cup of water (or vegan milk, soy/almond/etc)
- 2 ripe medium bananas
- 2 medium juicy pears
- 2 medium apples
- ½ tspn cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Soak oats in water for 15 minutes in the blender
2. While you wait, wash fruits
3. Chop apples and bananas, and to the oats
4. Blend until smooth, adding more water/milk to preferred consistency
5. Sprinkle cinnamon
Enjoy!
Handy Tip:
If you’re an athlete or a person who works out, you can drink this smoothie as a pre-workout one hour before. It will give you a nice boost on energy and stamina. Also, for post-workout, you can just add a tablespoon of nut butter (peanut or almond) for a higher protein content for muscle recovery.
