  • 2 Cups Chickpeas (Soaked
  • 1 Cup Oil
  • ½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Coriander
  • ½ Cup Onions
  • ½ Cup Peppers
  • ½ Cup Corn Meal
  • Salt (to taste)


  1. Grind chickpeas in blender or food processor with just enough water to make mixture smooth.
  2. Add vegetables and dry ingredients to chickpeas.
  3. Add ½ cup of oil and mix well, then shape into patties.
  4. Cook patties on each side in pan with 2 tablespoons oil until golden brown.
